Human Rights Dialogue - A Networking Forum for Research Collaboration

This half-day workshop brings together researchers from Lund University´s Profile Area Human Rights and human rights experts from the Swedish Institute for Human Rights.
The session will feature presentations of key findings and challenges in preparing the 2025 annual report of the Swedish Human Rights Institute, Sweden´s national human rights institution (NHRI). This will lead into an interactive dialogue and collective brainstorming on the most relevant topics, research questions, and methodologies for advancing human rights research in the coming years. This event aims to foster new connections and contribute to building a vibrant Lund Human Rights community.
Workshop topics will be:
- Discrimination, racism, hate, and threats
- Economic, social, and cultural rights
- Rule of law and shrinking civil space
- Climate and environment
- Methodological challenges for measuring human rights
